About the position
The Medicare Sales Field Agent position at Humana involves engaging with the Medicare population to sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries about available services. This role requires building community relationships, driving self-generated sales, and meeting sales goals while working independently. Agents will interact with customers through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic methods, including grassroots marketing and field sales events. The position is based in West Pasco or Hernando County, Florida, and requires a valid Health Insurance License.
Responsibilities
- Build community relationships and drive self-generated sales.
- Meet sales goals and metrics while working independently.
- Interact with customers, external business partners, and the community through various communication methods.
- Conduct face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes and community events.
- Sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries on services.
Requirements
- Active Florida Health Insurance license.
- Experience with technology, including high-level use of laptops and mobile applications.
- Understanding of CRM tools or other sales/marketing resources.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook.
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance.
Nice-to-haves
- Active Florida Life and Variable Annuity Insurance license.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Prior experience in TEAMS and PowerPoint.
- Experience engaging with the community through service and volunteerism.
- Experience selling Medicare products.
- Bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write in both English and another language.
- Prior experience in public speaking and presentations.
