About the position
The Medicare Sales Field Agent position at Humana involves engaging with the Medicare population to sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries about available services. This role requires building community relationships, driving self-generated sales, and meeting sales goals while working independently. Agents will interact with customers through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic means, participating in grassroots marketing and field sales community events.
Responsibilities
- Build community relationships and drive self-generated sales.
- Meet sales goals and metrics while working independently.
- Interact with Humana's customers and external business partners through various communication methods.
- Conduct face-to-face marketing and field sales community events.
- Educate beneficiaries on individual health plan products and services.
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance license or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
- Experience with technology, including high-level use of laptops and mobile applications.
- Understanding of CRM tools or other sales/marketing resources.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to have daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members.
Nice-to-haves
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance license.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Prior experience in TEAMS and PowerPoint.
- Experience engaging with the community through service and volunteerism.
- Experience selling Medicare products.
- Bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write in both English and another language without limitations.
