About the position

The Medicare Sales Field Agent position at Humana involves engaging with the Medicare population to sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries about available services. This role requires building community relationships, driving self-generated sales, and meeting sales goals while working independently. Agents will interact with customers through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic methods, participating in community events and visiting prospects in their homes. The position offers a competitive compensation package that includes base pay and commission, with the potential to exceed $118K based on experience and location.

Responsibilities

• Build community relationships and drive self-generated sales.
• Meet sales goals and metrics while working independently.
• Interact with Humana's customers and external business partners through various communication methods.
• Participate in grassroots marketing and field sales community events.
• Educate beneficiaries on individual health plan products and additional services.

Requirements

• Active Health Insurance license or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
• Experience with technology, including high-level use of laptops and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to have daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members in the field.
• Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in TEAMS and PowerPoint.
