About the position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at St. Anthony Hospital involves assisting in the delivery of nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Provide personal care including hygiene and physical comfort for patients.
- Assist with feeding, bathing, shaving, and changing clothes of patients.
- Perform bed making, ambulation, lifting, turning, moving, and transferring of patients.
- Support skin care and bowel and bladder elimination needs of patients.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or military medical specialty training.
- Six months of related work experience preferred.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the Washington State Nursing Commission.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
