About the position
We are seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with facial aesthetics experience to join our health and wellness practice in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and consultations to patients regarding aesthetic treatments, weight loss programs, and hormone replacement therapies.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.) to evaluate patient health.
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses, and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications.
- Maintain accurate records and schedules while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and overall wellness practices.
- Promote good health practices and advance professional knowledge through ongoing education and research.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and suggestive selling skills to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with a supportive team to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Aesthetics, Hormone Replacement Therapy, and Peptide therapy.
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting (clinic, hospital, ER, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively.
- A commitment to health promotion and maintenance, thoroughness in clinical skills, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program or an ABSNC-accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current state license, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) is necessary.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree or Ph.D. is a plus.
