Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service or a medical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with computers and EMR systems
  • Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or certification in healthcare, communications, or customer service

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient intake and rooming (check-in/check-out)
  • Document patient visits in EMR
  • Answer calls and schedule appointments
  • Prepare patient charts and track lab results
  • Coordinate with other medical offices
  • Process medical records requests
  • Travel to clinic locations with providers (mileage reimbursed)
  • Support daily clinic operations as needed
