Cherry Creek Heart is a medical cardiology practice located in Aurora, seeking a dedicated front/back office medical receptionist with experience in medical office settings. The role involves a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for the smooth operation of the clinic, including patient check-in and check-out, managing insurance information, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, performing EKGs, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate will possess professionalism, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The responsibilities of the medical receptionist include greeting patients warmly, managing appointments, verifying insurance, and processing payments. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure that exam rooms are prepared and that all necessary paperwork is completed. Attention to detail is essential, as the receptionist will be responsible for turning over exam rooms and ensuring that all clinical duties are performed accurately. Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor

  • Handle incoming calls, faxes, and assist with reminder calls

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a medical front desk or receptionist role is required
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems like Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus
  • Knowledge of vital signs and EKG procedures is a plus
  • Experience with Athena EMR is a plus
  • BLS Certification is preferred
