About the position
Thomas & Wickenheiser, LLC is seeking a dedicated Associate Medical Malpractice/Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. This role primarily involves advocating for clients facing significant challenges, ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve. The position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for remote work with occasional in-person meetings, fostering a collaborative culture within the office.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil actions related to medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
- Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and draft pleadings and motions.
- Prepare for trials and review and analyze medical records.
- Report to clients and firm partners regarding case progress and developments.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Medical Malpractice or Personal Injury law on the Plaintiff side.
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required; New Hampshire admission is a bonus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with a focus on a paperless environment.
- Excellent research, verbal, and writing skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency with Case Management Software, Microsoft Office, e-filing, and navigating court websites.
- Experience in conducting and defending depositions, drafting and managing discovery, and trial preparation.
