About the position
Amery Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) to perform and evaluate routine and complex laboratory analyses in support of the medical staff, ensuring positive patient outcomes. The role involves following laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining records of patient results. Additionally, the technician will oversee quality control and maintenance of laboratory instruments, documenting any deviations from standard procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform and evaluate routine and complex laboratory analyses.
- Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing.
- Conduct test analysis and report patient results.
- Maintain records of patient results.
- Oversee quality control and maintenance of laboratory instruments.

Requirements
- Associate degree in medical technology from an accredited program.
- Eligibility to sit for ASCP or NCA or AMT registry.
Nice-to-haves
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinic or hospital laboratory.
- Demonstrated keyboarding skills and computer knowledge.
- Previous training and/or usage of EPIC computer system.
