The Medical Laboratory Technician Adjunct position at Northwest Florida State College is a part-time role designed for individuals who are interested in joining the instructional pool for potential teaching opportunities. As an adjunct instructor, you will be responsible for delivering both online and classroom instruction, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive education that meets the standards set by the college. You will be expected to fulfill all contractual obligations during the term, which includes conducting classes according to the approved syllabus and utilizing the designated instructional materials. Preparation is key in this role; instructors must be fully prepared and punctual for each class. You will also be required to utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) in accordance with college policies, which includes submitting attendance and maintaining course grades. Engaging with students is a critical aspect of this position, as you will need to answer questions promptly and refer students to additional support when necessary. Respect and understanding of diversity among students and colleagues are paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all college policies. In addition to teaching responsibilities, you may assist in the development of curriculum and will be required to complete annual mandatory compliance training. Other duties may be assigned by the Program Director as needed.
