About the position
The Medical Intermediate Nursing Assistant is a part-time position responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role focuses on basic patient care tasks to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, contributing to a high-quality healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Provide basic patient care including bathing, hygiene, elimination, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
- Support patient safety and satisfaction by conducting regular patient rounds on the nursing unit.
- Effectively communicate with all team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience in a healthcare setting.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Certified Nurse Aide (MO) certification from the Missouri Division of Health and Human Services.
