Requirements

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Punctuality and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling appointments
  • Translating (Spanish/English bilingual skills) as needed
  • Directing patients to clean and presentable rooms
  • Collecting co-pays and balances
  • Obtaining receipts of delivery, signed by patient
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Answering and directing incoming calls
  • Filing patient charts
  • Data input
  • Corresponding with medical personnel, hospitals, health insurance companies, etc.
  • Medical insurance authorizations and verification
  • Prioritizing tasks and workload, being flexible in assuming various assignments
  • Being a team player, having a positive attitude, presenting professional attire, appearance, and demeanor
  • Filling in when needed with other front-office positions
