About the position

The Medical Call Center Representative at Healthy Living Primary Care is responsible for managing high call volumes and scheduling appointments for patients. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The representative will interact with patients, answer inquiries, and ensure accurate information is collected and entered into the system. The position is remote but requires initial in-office training.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling appointments for patients.
  • Answering telephones promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
  • Obtaining and entering accurate demographic and insurance information.
  • Answering questions and sending messages to providers on behalf of patients.
  • Reviewing and responding to patient emails.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a medical call center or high call volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Epic software.
  • Previous clinical experience.
