About the position
The Medical Biller / Coder/Collector position is a full-time role focused on managing medical billing processes, including coding and collecting payments from various insurance providers. Responsibilities
- Manage and process medical billing for various insurance providers.
- Code medical procedures and diagnoses accurately.
- Collect payments from patients and insurance companies.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing practices.
- Maintain organized records of billing and collections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 0 to 1 years of related experience in medical billing or coding.
- Knowledge of PPO insurances, Medicare, Medi-cal, and Workers Compensation.
Nice-to-haves
- Medical Billing Specialist course in process or completed.
