About the position
The Journey Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) at Providence St. Joseph Health works under the supervision of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist in providing patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
- Perform clinical functions as required for the assigned clinic.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support the healthcare team in delivering quality care to patients.
Requirements
- Washington Medical Assistant Registration or Certification within 60 days of hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 6 months of healthcare experience.
- 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary, or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk.
