About the position

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is looking for Registered or Certified Medical Assistants to join our experienced team of medical providers. Multiple locations are available in Specialty and Primary Care settings. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem positions are available. The responsibilities of Medical Assistants include taking vital signs, performing patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation, and patient discharge. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs
• Perform patient intake and history
• Handle clinical orders and procedures
• Document patient information
• Assist with patient discharge

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association
• Must be ONE of the following: Certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) registered as an American Medical Technologist (AMT), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association
