About the position

The Associate Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) plays a crucial role in supporting licensed practitioners by providing basic patient care through both administrative and clinical duties. This position is integral to ensuring that patient care needs are met in accordance with established policies and regulations, contributing to a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care at Swedish Health Services.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioners in providing basic patient care to assigned patients.
• Perform administrative duties as required to support patient care.
• Conduct clinical tasks as directed by licensed practitioners.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulations in all duties performed.

Requirements

• Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk.
• 6 months Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
