The Medical Assistant (MA) position in a busy Dermatology, Cosmetic & Mohs practice involves assisting physicians and physician assistants with various dermatological and surgical procedures. The role requires a detail-oriented and caring individual who can work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and physician assistants with general dermatology and surgical procedures, including Mohs surgery.
- Prepare lab requisitions and enter patient notes into the EMR system (Modernizing Medicine).
- Provide support in a busy dermatology practice, ensuring quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Dermatology is required.
- Experience in Medical Assisting is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
