About the position

Located along the Chippewa River in West Central Minnesota, 45 minutes west of Willmar and 1 hour south of Alexandria, Benson is a family-friendly community of nearly 3,500 residents. The CentraCare Benson Clinic serves patients in several different specialties. The position involves delivering patient-focused rooming for various types of clinic visits, communicating results and other relevant medical information to patients and providers, and ensuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA).
• Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
• Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

Benefits

• Pay based on experience starting at $18.01 per hour.
• Pay range: $18.01 - $25.62 per hour.
