About the position

Moses Lake Community Health Center is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to join their Medical team. This role is crucial in the Patient-Centered Medical Home, where the Medical Assistant actively participates in planning, managing, and coordinating patient care at both the individual and population levels. The position involves assisting Nurses and Providers to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of the Care Team.
• Participates in daily patient care (Care Management).
• Performs Phlebotomy and waived Lab duties.
• Participates in Patient follow-up (Care Coordination).
• Performs Quality Care according to OSHA Safety Standards.
• Actively participates in Quality Improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Completion of a certificate or license program in medical assisting, typically lasting up to one year.
• Ability to obtain Medical Assistant licensure with the State of Washington.
• Ability to read and write in Spanish and/or Russian preferred.
