About the position
The Media Specialist (Video Editor) position at CFDay involves supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations through videography and video editing. This part-time, on-call role requires 100% travel to various mission sites, where the specialist will shoot interviews, handle news conferences, and produce television stories based on specific scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Shoot interviews and handle news conferences.
- Produce television stories on various aspects of a scenario.
- Piece together all elements developed by the team with file footage to create the finished product.
Requirements
- 6 years of experience in videography and video editing.
- Experience in a Public Affairs office or real-world media.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism or Communications.
- Experience using Adobe Premier Pro is preferred but not required.
