About The Position
Seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN to provide quality patient care in an acute care setting serving a diverse patient population. The RN will deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of acute or sub-acute nursing experience required
- Active unrestricted RN License required
- BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA required
- TCAR certification required within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 6 months of hire
- Experience with Allscripts EMR preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and discharge planning
- Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and safety protocols
- Deliver compassionate care to patients of all ages
