Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Compassionate, patient-first mindset
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Support patients’ daily needs including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and comfort
- Prioritize and delegate care activities based on patient needs
- Educate patients and families, including discharge planning
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in rounds and monitor patient progress through lab results and documentation
- Accurately document patient care and communicate updates effectively
