About the position
The Logistics/Warehouse Property Specialist at KBR is responsible for managing warehouse operations, including layout planning, inventory management, and documentation. This role supports the Department of State's medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East, ensuring efficient material handling and compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of construction and maintenance activities.
- Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports.
- Maintains inventories and completes records.
- Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third party rentals.
- Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.
- Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean up activities.
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Requirements
- Requires high school diploma and 2+ years of related experience.
- Must meet all medical requirements and be willing and available to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
- Candidates must meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements.
- Must currently possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
