About the position
The Director of Logistics Property Book at KBR is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, including planning, inventory management, and documentation related to logistics support for medical services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East. This role involves ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, as well as managing departmental functions and budgets while developing employee skills.
Responsibilities
- Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of construction and maintenance activities.
- Maintains inventories and completes records.
- Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third party rentals.
- Under general supervision, manages and is accountable for the overall function of the department.
- Analyzes and advises employees of operating policies and procedures.
- Accountable for budget and develops employees and their skills.
- Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business strategies.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience (10 years) in lieu of degree.
- Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Driver's License.
- Must possess a passport book with at least 13 months of remaining validity and 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Must currently possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
