About the position

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates. The role involves leading all aspects of project administration, including adherence to contract penalty clauses, analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies, and managing projects to ensure business compliance. The Project Manager will also be responsible for financial management of projects, including cash flow, monthly forecasts, and expense monitoring. Additionally, the position requires validating project scope, cost, and schedule, utilizing qualified subcontractors, and creating and maintaining project schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates.
  • Lead all aspects of project administration including adherence to contract penalty clauses and analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies.
  • Financially manage all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost/revenue, and monitoring expenses.
  • Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents and establishing customer expectations.
  • Utilize properly qualified subcontractors, oversee subcontractor RFQ process, and manage subcontractor execution.
  • Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, and milestones.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years commercial project management experience.
  • High School diploma.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite - Intermediate, Outlook, etc.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
