Mechanical Completions Inspector
About The Position
Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world’s leading brands and companies, is actively seeking a Mechanical Completions Inspector to join our Technical Inspection Services team in Ingleside, TX. The Mechanical Completions Inspector is responsible for ensuring that the Project Quality Plan in conjunction with Project Execution Plan is developed and implemented. This role will promote quality awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous improvement, and corrective action to influence the overall success of company business. Requirements
- 5+ years completions package experience
- Able to work and communicate in a team environment
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to climb, kneel and squat occasionally
- Must be able to read plans and specifications
- Prior plant experience, LNG plant preferred
Nice To Haves
- Preferably holds current certification in Swagelok and Parker tubing fitting installation (Will accept expired certification depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Follow processes and procedures for system completions walkdown
- Able to walkdown completion packages and verify compliance with specifications and project documentation
- Able to participate in virtual systems completion walkdowns with client completions team through the use of Microsoft Teams and the utilization of virtual systems hardware
- All other duties assigned
