Mechanical CAD Design Engineer Intern

About the position

This will be at least a 6 month internship onsite with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Assist engineering team in product design and development. Develop 2D and 3D modeling of HVAC equipment in CAD systems (NX/AutoCad/Solid Works). Support engineers with product development tasks such as Design Sketch, ECR creation, prototyping. Develop basic details and assembly drawings for products and equipment. Create Drawings for Legacy products - Reverse ENGBill Of Material development and maintaining. Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation. Document and maintain Tech product data.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical preferred)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Knowledge of CAD (NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
