The Mechanical Assembler/Operator at EMCORE Corporation is responsible for performing mechanical assembly tasks, including soldering and working with precision instruments under a microscope. Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks including mounting quartz forks to bases under a microscope.
- Conduct fork balancing and wire bonding.
- Engage in laser trimming and loading/unloading ovens.
- Execute soldering tasks and microscope work.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Requirements
- Entry-level position with 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing assembly and soldering preferred.
- Ability to remain at a workstation for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the role.
