About The Position

Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking an Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join their team. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while providing excellent customer service. The technician will also assist in training and mentoring team members, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and staying current with automotive technologies. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of automotive repair or mechanical experience
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • High energy, positive attitude, and strong customer focus

Nice To Haves

  • Section 609 Certification
  • State Inspection License (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, and alignment
  • Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire services, etc.)
  • Explain repair needs and technical information to customers and teammates
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new vehicle technologies
  • Support fellow technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Follow all company, safety, and environmental procedures
