Requirements

An interest in or experience working with meat and/or seafood products.
Basic understanding of food safety and handling standards.
Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks independently, and communicate clearly.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

Supports the daily operations of the Meat & Seafood department.
Maintains full, fresh, and visually appealing cases.
Assists with product preparation.
Delivers exceptional retail Customer Service.
Ensures proper rotation, storage, and sanitation.
Works closely with leadership and fellow Team Members to uphold quality and safety standards.
Provides friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable service to all Customers.
Assists with cutting, wrapping, labeling, and displaying meat and seafood products under supervision.
Stocks, rotates, and organizes product to ensure freshness and reduce shrink.
Maintains a clean and sanitary workspace, prep areas, and service counters.
Follows proper food safety, handling, and sanitation guidelines always.
Assists with unloading, storing, and organizing deliveries.
Helps build and maintain engaging, on-brand displays for promotions and seasonal sets.
Works collaboratively with other Team Members and department leadership.
Upholds all Plum Market policies, safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
