About The Position

The MDC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the overall operation and production of the facility in the absence of the Managers. The Supervisor will oversee all functions such as purchasing, product planning and delivery logistics. The Supervisor will ensure that the facility maintains a high level of both service and the quality of the product sent to our customers while maintaining the cost of goods and labor percentages. The Supervisor should have the ability to run a facility that meets company’s metrics and have the ability to problem solve anything that does not meet company’s standards. The Supervisor will maintain a safe and comfortable work environment for all staff and will oversee training and development of employees when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have some Word and Excel knowledge.
• Good Math skills
• Able to receive and give directions to get the job completed.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of production/warehouse experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual ability is a plus
• Person must be flexible with schedule and able to work long hours during the peak weeks of the year.
• The candidate should able to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Company standards and Metric compliance.
• Purchasing of Fresh/Hardgoods for the MDC location when needed.
• Production management to make sure that all Designers and Drivers are performing to company’s expectations.
• Weekly and Monthly Reports sent to MDC Manager.
• Dispatching of drivers when necessary to make sure all orders are delivered within the given time frame.
• Make decisions when it comes to ordering of supplies and flowers for the MDC location.
• Manage the staff and make sure everyone’s work is completed to company standards.
