About The Position

This position processes purchase orders for capital equipment and communicates with end-users and vendors to confirm and track orders. The role involves scanning and stocking supplies, managing backorders, substitute supplies, allocations, recalls, returns, and replenishment orders. It also includes maintaining lean processing supply rules and standard operating processes, working with vendors, customer service, shipping & receiving for order fulfillment, managing expired supplies, and tracking costs. The coordinator will bring cost savings to the organization by implementing contract supplies from the GPO and work with buyers to ensure order status. Additionally, there is a component of clinical partnership for supply needs and maintaining these relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment that includes latex materials or appropriate substitute if required for your position
  • Able to move freely about facility with or without an assisted device
  • Must be able to perform the functions of the job as outlined in the job description
  • Overall vision and hearing is necessary with or without assisted device(s)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, get along with others, work independently, regular and predictable attendance and ability to stay awake
  • Overall dexterity is required including handling, reaching, grasping, fingering and feeling
  • May require repetition of these movements on a regular to frequent basis

  • Scanning and stocking supplies
