We’re a leading metal-forming, manufacturing and service company devoted to providing our customers industry-leading metal spinning, hydroforming and other specialized metal-forming services. We form steel, stainless steel, cold-rolled steel, hot rolled steel, aluminum, copper, brass, hastelloy and inconel into a variety of shapes, including panels, hemispheres, hoppers, venturis, cans, pans, shells and other formed metal parts.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints.
• Possess good communication and reasoning skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions whether written or oral.
• Proper operation of hoists and cranes in a safe manner and complete any training/safety program relating to the operation of the equipment.
• Operate company computer systems.
• Operate general hand tools.
• Operate shop floor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Associate performs all safety checks at the start of shift on all cranes and tools, documents as necessary and continues to perform safety checks throughout the shift.
• Read production work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required.
• Examine material received, verify part numbers, and check for discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts.
• Set up and process material on the Circle Shear, Punch Press, Square Shear, and Fiber Laser as required.
• Skid raw material steel per job in preparation for the metal spinning operations.
• Perform inspections using Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions.
• Assignments can change frequently from general cleaning, sorting parts, and general housekeeping.
