About the position

The Material Planner at Mondelēz International is responsible for delivering medium- to long-term forecasts of material requirements to suppliers, managing activities related to material supply plans, and ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs). This role involves collaboration with procurement and cross-functional teams to optimize material usage and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term materials planning for items produced internally and externally.
• Meet KPIs including raw/pack inventory levels and compliance to schedule (CTS).
• Perform root-cause analysis for continuous improvement of the plan.
• Maintain the integrity of system data and information for supply/materials planning.
• Partner with procurement for material optimization.
• Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fill rate, inventory targets, and waste reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience in an IBP/S&OP environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Process and Continuous Improvement Mindset.
• CSL/Planning experience.
• Analytical skills, technology experience & aspirations (SAP, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
