About The Position
This position will report to the Director of Operations. The candidate will join a dynamic group and works in conjunction with the supply chain management team to perform shipping and receiving functions for the organization. This position requires a self-motivated individual able to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma is required.
- Proficiency in Receiving Application, Material Requests Application, Shipping Requests Application, Job Pockets Module, and Inventory Module.
Nice To Haves
- Previous material handling experience is preferred.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Commercial driver's license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy of shipments by validating material receipt with packing lists and/or purchase orders.
- Unload deliveries from inbound vehicles.
- Basic knowledge of inbound and outbound material handling.
- Generate shipping documents and labels.
- Load shipment onto outbound vehicles.
- Process items for outbound shipments.
- Packaging, transporting, distributing, and the maintenance of material.
- Assist in receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering of equipment and material.
- Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment.
- Adhere to all safety processes and code of ethics of the organization.
