About The Position

Responsible for pulling all necessary yarns requested by knitting personnel to ensure that the floor runs efficiently with minimal down time. This role requires excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. The individual must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, reflecting a positive attitude and disciplined work ethic. The position also involves communicating yarn issues with Knitting Supervisors, stocking the floor with necessary yarn, and assisting with monthly inventory. Adherence to company policies, including attendance and punctuality, is crucial. The job also requires courteous and professional communication with co-workers and management, and conformity with all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that complete lots are used up before opening new case
  • Ensures that smallest and oldest cases are used first
  • Communicates yarn issues with Knitting Supervisors
  • Responsible for stocking floor with necessary yarn
  • Helps with monthly inventory
  • Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality
  • Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
  • Other duties assigned by management
