About The Position
WR has an opportunity for two (2) Material Handlers to support physical inventory and material accountability activities for Government material. The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of employment history, education and/or certifications, criminal history, driving records, and other records or information related to the candidate’s suitability for the position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Word.
- Zero (0)+ years of experience in warehousing, material handling, and shipping and receiving responsibilities.
- Able to perform transactions within an Inventory Data System (IDS).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inventory counts of Government material in accordance with contract requirements and internal procedures.
- Verify asset information, quantities, and locations.
- Perform barcode scanning and data entry transactions within the Inventory Data System (IDS).
- Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and supporting documentation.
- Follow established safety, security, and material handling procedures.
- Communicate inventory status to supervisors and applicable personnel in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouses, stockrooms, and inventory areas.
