About the position

The Material Handler Lead position at RJW Logistics is a full-time role focused on overseeing and managing the production flow within the Contract Packaging department. The lead will be responsible for supervising warehouse employees, ensuring production goals are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, leading, and training warehouse employees.
• Maintaining and surpassing production goals.
• Monitoring the production flow from beginning to end.
• Communicating end-of-day production results to the Supervisor.
• Filling in for the Supervisor role as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of forklift driving experience in a warehouse setting, including Reach Trucks, EPJs, Sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers.
• Experience with parcel, case, and pallet picking with RF Scanner recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training in co-pack or warehouse environment.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• PC literate with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database.

Nice-to-haves

• Leadership experience (1 year preferred).
• Experience in contract packaging (1 year preferred).
• College experience or degree is a plus.
