About the position
As a Maschinenbediener (m/w/*) Beschichtung at 3M in Hilden, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining machinery in a production environment. This position emphasizes independent and results-oriented work, focusing on machine setup, operation, and quality assurance to contribute to the overall success of the team. Responsibilities
- Independently set up and operate machines.
- Conduct regular cleaning and setup tasks while adhering to time constraints.
- Actively participate in process and equipment optimization.
- Support maintenance during disturbances and maintenance work.
- Perform quality inspections and document results using SAP (MES) or similar systems.
Requirements
- Completed vocational/technical training.
- Relevant experience in machine operation within series production.
- Willingness to work in a 7-day, 4-shift operation.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong adherence to safety regulations and quick response to quality issues.
- Good understanding of quality management principles.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Quick learner with flexibility and technical understanding.
- Proficient in PC applications (MS Office, SAP, etc.) and fluent in German, both written and spoken.
