About the position

The Balance Sheet Management Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for contributing to the liquidity, balance sheet, and interest rate risk management of Citigroup and its entities. This role requires in-depth knowledge of financial processes and the ability to integrate subject matter expertise to improve workflows and decision-making. The analyst will evaluate complex issues, provide insights, and influence decisions through effective communication and leadership within teams.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the liquidity, balance sheet, and interest rate risk management of consolidated Citigroup, CBNA, and non-bank entities.
• Focuses on securities investment strategies or the measurement of business returns and capital allocation.
• Gains exposure to Citi's balance sheet, liquidity management, interest rate risk, and investment activities.
• Enhances processes to manage exposures in a well-governed environment.
• Advises on procedures to enhance reporting and decision-making in a given subject area.
• Improves process efficiencies to increase transparency and financial resource allocation.
• Assesses risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced quantitative and presentation skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data leveraging spreadsheets and models.
• Effective project management, relationship building, and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
