About the position

The Marketing Specialist at Carolina CAT is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring strategic marketing initiatives across various channels in collaboration with the Power Systems business organization. This role involves marketing strategy, campaign development, and customer insights analysis, requiring strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will leverage both creative and analytical skills to enhance marketing effectiveness and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Implement detailed marketing plans and schedules for the Power Systems organization.
  • Track and measure budgets to optimize marketing effectiveness and productivity.
  • Partner with OEM and other Caterpillar dealers to enhance the marketing plan.
  • Develop success metrics to assess marketing project effectiveness, including campaign ROI.
  • Identify key target market segments and ensure clear, engaging communications.
  • Research competitors and analyze market data to support business strategies.
  • Translate data into insights for profitable growth initiatives.
  • Foster communication between marketing and other departments, sharing insights with leadership.
  • Innovate and manage marketing campaigns to achieve business goals.
  • Create personalized customer experiences and ensure leads are captured and routed correctly.
  • Assist in customer data-mining efforts to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team on strategy and content across channels.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral and ensure brand consistency.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing or creative functions.
  • Ability to interpret business needs into strategic marketing actions.
  • Proficient in data mining and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Experience with marketing campaign management and analysis.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
