About the position

FanDuel is looking for a senior leader to drive our Creative, Partnerships, Insights, and Brand strategy across all FanDuel brand. This person will play a key leadership role, responsible for shaping and elevating the FanDuel brand through holistic marketing efforts, collaborative go-to-market strategies, and data-driven storytelling. This person will own the creative vision of the brand and help foster a customer-first culture across the organization while driving innovation and ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the company’s brand, creative, partnerships, and consumer insights strategy.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to help drive the positioning and go-to-market strategy of new product launches & features, assessing their impact both commercially and through the lens of our customer.
  • Drive meaningful improvements in marketing’s working relationship with the commercial and product teams.
  • Design and execute dynamic experiences bringing all aspects of the brand vision to life in measurable ways across our content, partnerships, media, advertising, and integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure all components come together to become a fully integrated marketing communications plan that will engage targeted audiences with a powerful and consistent brand voice.
  • Streamline and optimize creative operations to be more effective in delivering world-class creative concepts without sacrificing the required volume, iteration, and speed.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, inspiring, creative, and world-class team.
  • Collaborate and foster a true partner relationship with your functional peers within and outside of the Marketing organization.
  • Have a strong ROI and data-driven orientation and collaborate closely with the performance growth and CRM side of the business.
  • Elevate the above-the-line brand work, and be able to articulate what is making a measurable impact.
  • Develop a PR strategy that elevates the FanDuel brand with content and stories that highlight FanDuel as the distinct category leader.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that delivers on key performance indicators.
  • Identify, develop, and retain top talent within the marketing organization team.
  • Inspire internal and external stakeholders, including leading key agency partners, to deliver value aligned with FanDuel’s brand goals.
  • Represent the marketing department in cross-functional projects, providing strategic input and ensuring alignment with key business objectives.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of business experience in brand, product, and creative marketing roles at highly progressive and innovative B2C companies.
  • A proven track record leading and scaling a business with a strong focus on brand and advertising as part of a broader business and marketing strategy.
  • Previous experience working at high-growth consumer companies that have achieved success and scale.
  • Highly creative; able to build the creative direction of the brand and overall messaging for the company.
  • Deep knowledge of how to use digital channels and tools to build both a brand and a customer base.
  • Experience leading in a company that has undergone rapid growth; strong understanding of how to build and lead as growth is occurring.
  • Strong product sensibilities and lots of customer empathy.
  • Proven experience managing a highly matrixed organization successfully.
  • Experience overseeing a marketing program with strong operations.
  • Comfortable sitting at the executive table and contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
