About the position

Rocksbox is looking for a creative and data-driven marketing professional to join our marketing team as Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for accelerating Rocksbox's business by driving customer acquisition and growth across marketing channels. You are knowledgeable in online marketing trends and have a passion for testing and experimentation. This role is a critical part of Rocksbox's growth strategy, and you'll be working with a committed and motivated team. This role is based in San Francisco and reports to the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Execute paid acquisition marketing campaigns including paid social, display, search, Amazon, affiliate, and other performance channels.
  • Evaluate and test new acquisition channels and technologies as appropriate.
  • Assist in execution and reporting for cross-functional marketing initiatives (email, loyalty, brand) as needed.
  • Serve as metrics owner and expert, analytics of LTV, CPA and ROI. Build reports to measure programs, and share results cross-functionally.
  • Support reporting for all marketing channels, partnering with Analytics team.
  • Manage internal relationships related to paid marketing, partnering with finance, product, and merchandising teams to administer and optimize paid marketing programs.
  • Partner with internal creative team on creative & communication development.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising and Planning teams to ensure accurate product and assortment messaging across paid marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate conversion rate improvement initiatives, including landing page testing.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in marketing or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience managing marketing programs (performance marketing preferred)
  • Experienced in Facebook Ads Manager and Google Adwords, as well as experience with Affiliate marketing
  • Familiarity with other channels (Direct Mail, Influencer, Television, Podcast)
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns
  • Proven track record as a strong collaborator who is able to meet deadline-driven projects and provide quick turnarounds
  • Analytical thinker - able to understand target metrics and goals
  • Willingness to learn and grow paid marketing skills across channels
  • Candidates residing in PST, a plus
