About the position
The Marketing Manager for TEPEZZA in Endocrinology at Amgen is responsible for supporting the marketing strategy for the rare disease business team. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of Thyroid Eye Disease, managing external relationships, executing marketing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product adoption and brand messaging.
Responsibilities
- Support marketing strategy for the rare disease business team.
- Demonstrate understanding of Thyroid Eye Disease and competitive landscape.
- Manage relationships with thought leaders and strategic partners.
- Execute marketing strategies through congresses and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to develop initiatives.
- Lead external partners to ensure consistency in strategies and messages.
- Provide input into brand strategy and tactical plans based on insights.
- Track marketing program efficiency and optimize programs.
- Ensure marketing materials meet brand and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree
- Master's degree with 2 years of Marketing and/or sales experience
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of Marketing and/or sales experience
- Associate's degree with 8 years of Marketing and/or sales experience
- High school diploma/GED with 10 years of Marketing and/or sales experience
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree required; Graduate business or healthcare related degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in marketing/sales in the healthcare pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in Endocrinology and/or Biologic specialty product marketing
- Strong planning, project management, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
