About the position

The Marketing Manager for TEPEZZA in Endocrinology at Amgen is responsible for supporting the marketing strategy for the rare disease business team. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of Thyroid Eye Disease, managing external relationships, executing marketing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product adoption and brand messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing strategy for the rare disease business team.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Thyroid Eye Disease and competitive landscape.
  • Manage relationships with thought leaders and strategic partners.
  • Execute marketing strategies through congresses and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to develop initiatives.
  • Lead external partners to ensure consistency in strategies and messages.
  • Provide input into brand strategy and tactical plans based on insights.
  • Track marketing program efficiency and optimize programs.
  • Ensure marketing materials meet brand and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree
  • Master's degree with 2 years of Marketing and/or sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years of Marketing and/or sales experience
  • Associate's degree with 8 years of Marketing and/or sales experience
  • High school diploma/GED with 10 years of Marketing and/or sales experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree required; Graduate business or healthcare related degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing/sales in the healthcare pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in Endocrinology and/or Biologic specialty product marketing
  • Strong planning, project management, communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
