About the position

Bring bold campaigns to life, drive consumer engagement, and lead with purpose—this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact at a legacy brand. Jostens is looking for a seasoned Marketing Manager to support our fast-paced, highly collaborative Mascot Shop division. In this role, you'll partner closely with a Marketing Director to design and execute data-driven strategies across digital and traditional platforms. With direct ownership of a key business line, you'll lead high-impact initiatives, mentor a team, and help shape the future of one of the most iconic brands in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Marketing Planning And Execution. Identify and implement short- and long-term marketing plans that drive growth across product lines and customer segments within the Mascot Shop.
  • Develop Comprehensive Campaigns And Materials. Create high-impact messaging, collateral, email, social, and video content that engage customers and consumers, using both print and digital channels.
  • Provide Performance Insights To Leadership. Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaign performance and deliver strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner Across The Business. Collaborate with Creative, Digital, Marketing Services, Legal, Sales, Customer Service, IT, and Manufacturing to align on goals and ensure flawless execution.
  • Drive Brand Engagement And Customer Experience. Implement strategies to strengthen the Jostens brand, improve customer satisfaction, and increase awareness and revenue.
  • Manage And Develop A Team. Supervise one direct report, supporting their professional development and ensuring team success.
  • Oversee Budget And Forecasting. Manage marketing spend and develop forecasts that align with profitability objectives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • 7+ years of marketing and consumer demand creation experience. Proven ability to drive engagement across multiple channels.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive on/offline campaigns, including catalog, online, and retail marketing.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, project management, analytical, and organizational skills. Effective presenter with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and experience working across large, matrixed teams to ensure alignment and integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead within teams, motivate others, and influence outcomes.
  • Proven ability to think fast, respond quickly, and manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely adept at managing multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Project and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to engage and seek diverse perspectives for the best possible solutions and outcomes.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or 3-4 additional years of relevant business experience.
  • Familiarity with social media best practices and desktop publishing.
