About the position

The Marketing Intern position at Hubbell Incorporated is part of a 10 to 12-week internship program designed for students to gain corporate experience and learn about various aspects of the business. Interns will support the Product Management team in the New Product Development (NPD) Launch Process and assist Key Account Management in promoting new products. This role offers opportunities for professional development, networking, and hands-on experience in a dynamic marketing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Management team with the New Product Development (NPD) Launch Process.
• Coordinate product specification sheets, showcase videos, and social media informational videos.
• Assist in creating application/market-geared 'line cards'.
• Support Key Account Management to promote new products and drive sales with key accounts.
• Shadow experienced team members to learn about operations and marketing processes.
• Participate in additional activities/events to build a network within the Hubbell community.
• Work on comprehensive, value-added projects and manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
• Provide support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.
• Present findings and experiences to the local management team at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related degree (required).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
