About The Position

Sunland Asphalt and Construction, LLC. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our booming business. Sunland is a leading asphalt solutions provider and general contractor known for delivering exceptional quality, reliability, and innovation to its customers. With a reputation built on decades of combined industry expertise, we specialize in a full range of services-including commercial and residential paving, maintenance and repair, sealcoating, milling, and large‑scale infrastructure projects. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting Sunland's Corporate Marketing Department with all Marketing, Business Development and Sales initiatives for all divisions in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and National Accounts. This employee will work within the Marketing Department and report to the Marketing Director.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related degree or equivalent combination of education.
  • 2-5 years of Marketing/Graphic Design experience within the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create superior on-brand responses for proposals, statements of qualifications, and prequalification/vendor packets, including leading proposal kick-off meetings, attending pre-submittal meetings, pulling existing content, creating/writing new content, proofreading/editing content, managing/enforcing deadlines, creating eye-catching graphics, printing, trimming, binding, delivering, and uploading.
  • Develop engaging concepts and layouts for a variety of print and digital internal/external marketing pieces, including proposals, qualification packages, presentations, signage, event collateral, emails, direct mail, and social media.
  • Create and update external content through social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) as well as internal content through the company intranet (SharePoint).
  • Maintain/update project and personnel information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, Cosential, to ensure consistency throughout all BD/Marketing/Sales collateral.
  • Perform basic photo editing, including cropping, color correction, and resizing.
  • Support the production and execution of internal and external events, such as employee awards luncheons, tradeshows, conferences, and golf tournaments.
  • Execute various administrative and coordination tasks, including ordering business cards and office supplies, maintaining/updating the Marketing production calendar, coordinating with internal departments, and coordinating with external partners/vendors.
  • Perform any and all business development, marketing, and sales duties.
