About The Position

The Marketing Communications Coordinator will promote the company's products and services to existing and prospective customers by supporting the creation, implementation, and tracking of digital and traditional marketing campaigns across various marketing channels.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • One to three years of related experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects preferred.
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift (range from 8-12 hours).
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality background preferred; must be comfortable working across dynamic environments-including kitchens, restaurants, and event spaces-to capture on-the-ground photo and video content

Responsibilities

  • Supports and coordinates with the MP and AGM as well as sales and outside marketing representatives to fully understand and assist in executing the organizational marketing needs.
  • Assists in gathering and researching data on current campaigns and benchmark competition to help identify the most effective communications technique.
  • Assists in developing communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.
  • Compiles and organizes design ideas and recommendations for review by the MP, AGM, outside marketing firm and/or sales team.
  • Supports the creation and coordinates multimedia packages.
  • Assists in preparing and formatting presentations for senior management review.
  • Schedules and assists with filming scripts and coordinates production.
  • Attends trade shows and supports research of best practices to assist in improving marketing impact.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
