About The Position

Zing Health is a tech-enabled insurance company focused on improving Medicare Advantage for individuals aged 65 and over. The company utilizes a community-based approach, acknowledging the impact of social determinants of health on individual and community well-being. Zing Health prioritizes placing the physician and member at the core of healthcare decisions, offering personalized assistance for smooth transitions, tailored plan options, access to facilities that support healthcare needs, and dedicated care teams. The Marketing Community Outreach Specialist is instrumental in achieving membership and enrollment targets through various initiatives, including marketing projects, new market development, health fairs, community events, training, member retention efforts, sales visibility, and networking. This role may also involve market and business opportunity research and assessment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years sales/marketing experience, preferably with government products.
  • Health insurance or managed care experience a plus.
  • Driver’s License is required.
  • Life and Health License (can be obtained within 60 days of employment)

  • Active and current life and health Insurance license in good standing required or is required to be obtained and appointed within sixty (60) days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, coordinates, collaborates and conducts events including, but not limited to, meetings, presentations, activities, training, product orientations, focus groups, field marketing events, projects, etc.
  • Develops and maintain business relationships and information that will result in opportunities to increase membership/enrollment targets.
  • Represents the department at internal and external meetings including, but not limited to, vendor reporting, departmental, cross-functional, community, provider, etc.
  • Delivers presentations including, but not limited to, sales, broker product training, member retention meetings, new member training, outreach activities, etc.
  • Acts as department liaison for market materials, collateral rollouts, inventory, reports, etc.
  • Acts as point person on key projects.
  • Prospects and initiates opportunities for field marketing events, grassroots lead generation, provider co-op events, other community venues, etc. Coordinates with sales team for successful market execution.
  • May develop plans to increase “crossover” enrollment
